I clinged tight onto the silver rail as I peeked my eyes over my feet looking down at the clear blue water. I could see the bright golden sun reflecting on the crystal clear water. Splash!! Bubbles of water appear floating above the water as my annoying older brother jumps off. Anxiously I count down in my head getting ready to jump off. 3,2,1!!. Ahhhh!! I scream as I cautiously let go of the silver rail which was keeping me from falling off. After I jump of I look up at the bridge and notice that it wasn't that high!! On my way back up to the bridge I pass my Mum with her camera, I have a peek at me on camera and boy o boy they were bad my face looked like a smashed up pumpkin!! ¨Last time round my Dad constantly yelled in a piercing voice, at least that was after the fifty times I had jumped with him telling me we were going. We packed up our stuff and headed home. What a day I had said to myself!!

Cross Country!! (Race)
OMG!! The time had come, my nerves had kicked and I could feel my butterflies flapping there tiny little wings in my stomach. Mrs Gomm had called the year 6 girls up, we walked along the pathway to the starting line. AS we lined up I looked down the path, I could see my Mum and Dad waiting for me. “Mr Barclay blew the loud whistle and off we went. Sprinting down the I could feel the long green grass tickling my tootsies. “Sharelle had sprinted of and caught a huge lead but that didn’t last for long, the determination and th drive in my mind gave me that little edge to push that much harder. I flew past my parents and circled the powerpost. My second lap was done. Up ahead I caught eye of my friends walking. Catching upto her I gave her a pat on the back and jogged along beside . A few metres up ahead Mr Barclay and Peni was standing by the finish line a gave my last bit pf energy in and sprinted to the finish. I was over the moon that I got first place. A few seconds after that my friends ran into my arms and congratulated me and nothing felt better.

Winter Poetry!!
Today in Cybersmart we were learning how to include descriptive languages. I have tried to include these images down the bottom to add some detail or something a bit extra to my work. I have also learnt how to embed my work into my blogger without it going of the page.
Enjoy!!
Enjoy!!

Tuia 250 [Learning]
This is my Picture
I choose this pitacular background, because I love like going to the beach early to watch the sunset, going for swims early or late at night.
Some places I would like to go is Hawaii, Kaitawa, Gold Coast, Gisborne, Anora and Tolaga Bay.
Our inquiry in room 2 this Term is Tuia 250. This bird is called The explore and we used this picture for our inquiry

Enviromental Poetry!!
This is my Enviromental Poem. So today Room 2 had a picture given to us by Mrs Gomm. We used that picture and described it. First we broke it down into Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives and Adverbs and then we put them into sentences. The challenging part of this was probably finding good descriptive adjectives.
The cold crystal clear water shimmers brightly
a star in the night sky...
Icy cold mountains peacefull
enjoying the beaming hot sun...
enjoying the beaming hot sun...
Chocolate brown rocks sunbathe happily
on the lake shore...
Fluffy white clouds stretch through the sky.

Poetry Writing!!
Today we were learning how to put Nouns, Adjective, Verbs and
adverbs in a sentence.
adverbs in a sentence.
The lucious viridescent green grass blows in the cold breeze,
Soft turquoise water flows down the lake,
Bushy Emerald green trees swaying side to side,
White fluffy clouds relaxing peacefully beneath the cerulean sky,
Mushy brown mud lying quietly on top of the long and spiky grass,
The clear cerulean sky curiously wathcing our every move,
The dark green forest filled with the life of nature.
Here is the picture I was describing.

Recount about my Holiday
A Long Trip To Rotorua
Success Criteria
:Use descriptive language
:Punctuation in the right places
One early warm Sunday morning, my family and
I set off on a trip to Rotorua. I wound down
the window and saw a magnificent view of the
sunrise, it was filled with multiple colours such
peach orange, golden yellow and a light beige
colour filling the centre of the sunrise. The fresh
cold breeze blew my luscious golden hair round and
round in circles. “Constantly I asked, were we
nearly there yet and the answer was always we are
not far away, but in my head I near we were ages away
from reaching the destination. One hour later I took a peek
through the clear glass window and saw the
motel we were going to be staying at for a few days.
I grabbed the key that opened our door, and turned it
round until the door unlocked. I slowly walked inside
curious of what I was going to see. It was like we were
living in a castle it was stunning. I placed my bag and
my gear on the top of my soft and cozy bed. I jumped
on my bed and turned on the TV and rested up for later.
Soon after that it was time to do the SHOPPING!!
I was over the moon that my Mum was going to take
me out to go and do some shopping. I hopped in the
car and we headed for K’mart one of my favourite stores.
We walked inside the clear glass doors and I grabbed an
extra large trolley just in case. I walked round the whole
entire shop making sure I didn’t miss one little thing.
Picking out some items that I wanted I politely asked my
Mum if I could have them, “buy politely I met begged my
Mum if I could have them”. Our shopping trip came to an
end so we decided to grab something to eat which was Mc’Donalds.
Best day ever I gratefully shouted with joy!!
